I stand happily corrected. The last thing I want to do is -minimize-
anyone's artistic talent out of ignorance. Had I known the truth, I
might have made a stronger statement about the limits of physics.
As Kevin could probably guess, I got my false impression from a casual
reading of the description of Witkin and Kass constraint-based modeling
in Foley, van Dam et al. This is an excellent example (at my expense,
damn it) of the difference between reading about something and actually
living it.
